Dongshan River Water Park
Located in Yilan Wujie Township, Dongshan River Water Park is an artificial canal that stretches twenty-four kilometers; has greenish rice fields dotting both sides of the riverbanks. The park was designed in 1987 and opened to publics in 1994. Covering a spacious area with splendid country views and water facilities, it is one of the major landmarks in Yilan.The theme of Dongshan Park is offer an open green space with water facilities; it is designed to integrate the distinctiveness of Dongshan River. Its water facilities are designed in various types fulfilling different needs such as tourism, leisure, and education. Dongshan River Water Park is a complex park combining land and water. The park is well-equipped with outdoor facilities including ecological reservation area, shallow water pool, leisure zone, water park, waterfront zone and many others. Dongshan River Water Park also has an outdoor theater, astronomical observatory, and boat pond forming distinctive sceneries. In addition to the enriched facilities, various well-known international boat races, dragon boat competitions, and international children’s folklore & folk game festival are being held here. A variety of facilities, relaxed green environment, and numerous grand events are waiting for you.

By car :
From Luotung, go on No. 7C Provincial Route or from Tucheng, go pass Shinlan Main Bridge and then go on No 2C Provincial Route to Lijr. Turn right to No. 7C Provincial Route.
By bus :
At Yilan, take the Yilan Express Bus bound for Chinshui, Yamin and Nan Fang-ao and alight at Zhiachin Bridge.
