SPOT-Taipei Film House
Located in the Zhongshan district of Taipei City, the SPOT-Taipei Film House was formerly the residency of the U.S. Ambassador, a historical landmark after the TSMC Education & Culture Foundation sponsored a restoration during 2002, it is now managed by the internationally recognized, Taiwanese director Hou Hsiao-hsien and his crew, to provide a film focused home base to offer interaction opportunities between different cultures within the creative industry. 
The SPOT-Taipei Film House not only offer movies from different culture diversity in their SPOT cinema, there’s also an Eslite Bookstore, C25 Coffee shop, exhibition gallery, multi-media conference room and the SixthAvenue, offering the finest winery lounge for movie lovers to exchange ideas and generate possible thinking through the workshop.
SPOT cinema hosts up to six screenings daily from 12:00am to 12:00pm, it also hosts workshops and exhibitions from experts in different fields to promote the film or creative pieces that are currently on display. By Taipei MRT:Take Taipei MRT-Danshui Line (捷運淡水線) to MRT Zhongshan Station (捷運中山站). SPOT-Taipei Film House (台北之家/光點台北)is reachable with one minute walk from exit no. 4 of MRT Zhongshan Station (捷運中山站).
