Baolai Hot Springs
Baolai Hot Springs are located the west part of Southern Cross-Island Highway and is in the vicinity to Bulao Hot Springs area. With an altitude of 550meters originated from Baolai valley and surrounded by forested mountains next to the Laonong River, Baolai Hot Springs features magnificent views and carbonic acid water. No. 1 National Highway (國道一號): exit from Yongkang Interchange (永康交流道) -> No. 1 Provincial Highway (台1線) -> 177jia County Road (177甲縣道) -> make a left turn at No. 20 Taiwan Provincial Highway (台20線) -> Jiaxian (甲仙) -> Laonong (荖濃) -> Baolai Hot Spring (寶來溫泉區)
By train -> bus:
1. Take train to Kaohsiung Train Station (高雄火車站). From there, take Kaohsiung Bus (高雄客運) bound for Baolai (寶來), Taoyuan (桃源) or Meishankou (梅山口) to Baolai stop (寶來站).
2. Take train to Tainan Train Station (高雄火車站). From there, take Xinnan Bus (興南客運) bound for bound for Baolai (寶來), Taoyuan (桃源), Tianchih (天池) or Meishankou (梅山口) to Baolai stop (寶來站).
