Date: July 5th, 2009 Time: 4 p.m. Venue: Taipei City Hall Square On July 5th, over 1000 people will dine together at Taipei City Hall Square. 350 tables will be set; seats, dishes, glass cups, and dinnerware for 1000 participants will also be prepared on-site. The government has invited several world famous chefs and locally renowned chefs. They will get together and demonstrate their brilliant culinary skills on an outdoor stage. The event also includes ice curving show, light show, and a dance show. Each participant will not only enjoy five-star rated food for free, but also has the opportunity to win a trip which worth one hundred thousand NT dollars. A press conference will be holding on Wednesday, June 24th, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. to announce the fifty well selected restaurant chefs for the World’s Longest Dinner. The chefs will display the dishes which will be served on July 5th. The press will be hold at DOZO Izakaya Dining Bar (1 F, No. 102, Guangfu South Road, Taipei City, Taiwan.) The conference will also announce the seven finalists for the World Master Chef Summit. The final round of the World Master Chef Summit will be held at 4:30 p.m. on July 4th, 2009, at Taipei World Trade Center Nangang Exhibition Hall.
