The carnival includes many events such as Songkran, Cold Spring Prince and Princess Contest, Stamp & Currency Exhibition, Traditional Folk Art Performance, Suao Tour guide and Historic Pictures Exhibition, and many entertaining art and musical performances. For spring seeker, this is the best chance to experience a truly rare natural cold springs. The water is at temperature at 22 °C below, and the only similar nature is in Italy. The water is odorless, clear, and drinkable; it contains sodium bicarbonate. The Suao Cold Spring Park is located north of Suao Town, about 300 meters in front of the Suao Train Station, near Chungyuan Road and Nenchuan Road. The water of the cold spring is freezing cold on the first five minutes of dipping, but the body quickly warm up. The superb water quality is good for making food and beverages. The famous “Goat Soup” is made from this water in Suao, and it is the most popular soup there.
