(Shanghai) Shanghai World Expo Tickets On Sale
Group tickets for the 2010 Shanghai World Expo will officially be on sale starting Sept 28, 2008, one month after the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The individual tickets for this event will be on sale May 1st, 2009. You can purchase tickets through the internet or by phone call, at designated locations, or at specific travel agencies. The price for a group ticket is 160 yuan(US$22) per person, but it will change depending on the amount of total purchases.
The 2010 Shanghai Expo is the first World Expo in China since its inception in London, England in 1851. It is expected to attract more than 70 million tourists from around the world. More than 2 hundred countries and organizations have entered this exposition. It could be the exposition with the most participating countries and organizations.
