Taipei Fireworks Show at Dadaocheng Wharf (大稻埕碼頭) is Taipei's best and most beautiful fireworks throughout the whole year. This fireworks activity will be held from 4:30 pm to 9:30 pm on August 2, 2008 at the Dadaocheng Wharf. This summer on Saturday, August 2nd, you will have the chance attend this exciting evening Taipei event and see the annual fireworks show over the skyline of Taipei City. The fireworks will be launched at a few places around Dansui River, and the designated watching location is at Taipei City's Dadaocheng Wharf. Here at the shores of Danshui River, many other activities will accompany the fireworks to provide you with an evening of fun! In the day you can tour the historic sites at Dadaocheng, have a stroll at the old Dihua Street and see lots of famous attractions nearby. At night you will watch and hear many celebrities sing, and most importantly, enjoy the amazing fireworks show above Danshui River. Fireworks will surprise you by its specially designed fireworks styles. Taipei government invites you to enjoy the city's biggest fireworks performance together here at Dadaocheng Wharf!

From 4 pm to 7 pm, you can enjoy tea and gifts, all free of charge, while watching traditional puppet shows or listening to the interesting background of the history of Dihua Street. In the meanwhile you can also choose to see the nearby monuments. From 7 pm to 9:30, there will be of drum and dance performances. Celebrities will also showcase at this time! This exciting evening-long activity will climax at 8:30 when the 25-minute-long fireworks are released into the Taipei night sky. Do not miss this chance!
