Taiwan travel association has created the first Taiwan tour guide manual for Chinese visitors. Taiwan travel association has come up with 20 classic routes of travel. It offers visitors four choices for how many days they want to stay in Taiwan. There are 10 days, 9 days, 8 days and 5 days.

The Taiwan tour guide manual is an important tool for both travel agencies and visitors. Besides the routes of travel it also contains information about dining, shopping and hotels. The travel interflow between China and Taiwan will officially start at July, 18 2008. However some of the Chinese visitors have gone across the line already. Since Taiwan travel association does not want to cause unwanted controversy it has not released the manual yet.

The Taiwan tour guide manual offers variety of routes for Chinese visitors. The longest trip is 10 days. For this 10 days trip visitors can choose if they want to entre from Taoyuan and leave from Taoyuan or entre from Kaohsiung and leave from Kaohsiung. The route that starts in Taoyuan goes through Suhua road, North East Coast and Kenting. The route that starts in Kaohsiung is similar. Both of routes contain main scenic spots such as Alishan, Sun Moon Lake and National Palace Museum. Besides those two routes you can also enter from Taoyuan and leave from Kaohsiung. That way you can travel around the whole island.

The 5 days trip is the shortest which has two routes and both of them would start and leave in Kaohsiung. The first route goes through Chiayi, Nantou and Tainan. The second route goes through Taitung and Hualien. Both routes would be focusing in Kaohsiung city tour and traditional Taiwanese foods and snacks. With the Taiwan tour guide manual visitors can see lots of scenic landscapes and experience the Taiwanese culture.
