Beijing Municipal Admistrations of Cultural Heritage announced the execution of new policy. Since late march 2008, a total of 33 Beijing museums and memorial halls will not charge any fee for admission gradually. The museum list of Free Charge Museums project includes Capital Museum, Beijing People's art theatre , Beijing Mentougou District Museum , China Movie Museum , The Han Dynasty Tomb at Dabaotai Museum , Beijing Museum of Matural History , Xu Beijhong Museum , Laoshe Memorial hall . Etc..

Government delivered the new policy as a sociality benefit and served the long-term purpose of education. Each museums and memorial halls may charge some plus service such as radio guide and film. However they basically welcome everyone from everywhere includes foreigners in China. Due to the large number of visitors, museums and memorial halls may set a bound of visiting number. Thus, each one who is willing to take a visit at the Free Charge Museums is suggested to make a reservation in advance.
