According to our contract with the hotel, the customer needs to make a full payment with credit card in order for the hotel to hold the room(s) and guarantee the reservation.

Once you’ve successfully made your booking and payment. You’ll receive a reservation confirmation through e-mail.

You may find the terms and conditions for your reservation/cancellation on the bottom of your reservation confirmation. Generally speaking, cancellations made 7 days in advance are 100% fully refundable.

The currency which you’ve made for reservation payment will be in TWD (Taiwan Dollar). Due to the fluctuating nature of currency exchange, we are unable to quote a specific exchange rate. To find out the current exchange rate, we recommend you check with your bank or a foreign exchange agent. However, Sinotour.com does not have authority over exchange rates.

Not all hotels include breakfast in their room rates. You may find information about breakfast in room description on the reservation page.

The rates you see online are the discounted prices offered by the hotel. You may book online using credit card payment. A full payment will guarantee your room(s).

If sold out shows on the selected dates, that mean such rooms are fully booked on our website. However, you may still contact us at service@hotel.com.tw for further confirmations of the availabilities.

Normally, rooms are available for reservation for the current and next month.

It’s hard to state clearly when the peak season is due to Sinotour is an international hotel online booking center, where peak season varies in each country. Generally, weekends and Taiwan holidays such as Chinese New Year and the Moon Festival are peak seasons.

You may specify in the remark column if you prefer a receipt. The receipt will be provided to your email in *pdf file after your stay at the hotel.

There are a few possibilities:

1. The card type is not accepted by the hotel.
2. The card expiration date precedes the reservation date
3. You have reached your credit limit
4. There was a system error

Cancellation policies are on the bottom of your reservation confirmation (Terms and Conditions for “Reservation Change” and “Cancellation”).

You should see the credit posted to your account in the next 1 or 2 billing cycles, depending upon the processing time by your credit card company.

Many hotels offer shuttle service from and to the airport. Information should be provided on the reservation page. You may remark your request for the airport transportation service on your reservation or contact the hotel directly. As a friendly reminder, the transportation service is normally offered with a charge.

Usually children under age of 12 are free of charge for sharing their parent's room using the existing bedding. However, the age requirement differs depending on the specific hotel's policy.

Most hotels allow additional guests to stay in the room(s) with a charge. Some hotels have a limitation on the no. of people in one room. Further details are provided on the Hotel reservation page.

Most hotels provide additional guest(s)/additional bed(s) services. However, due to the room space and comfort for your stay, some hotels have a limitation on the no. of bed/guest(s) per room. Further details are provided on the Hotel reservation page.

According to the Taiwan Laws, please be aware that all hotels have a minimum age restrictions or requirements for making hotel reservations. For example, for guest under the age of 20 is required for an authorization from his/her parents.

You may note us your request in the reservation, and we’ll assist in passing your needs to the hotel. The hotel staff will do their best to accommodate your special requests. However, please be informed that your requests will be depended on the availabilities of the hotel.

Your reservation confirmation, passport, and the credit card used for online reservation are required for confirmation upon check-in.

An early check-in or late check-out may be arranged depending on the availabilities of the hotel. However, most of the hotels provide these services with a charge. As a friendly reminder, the hotel does not use a percentage calculation for the extra hours. As a matter of fact, there is a fixed rate for each additional hour. 

According to the Tobacco Hazards Prevention and Control Act of Taiwan, smoking is prohibited in indoor areas/rooms.
